WHY TEAM ALF?

My newfound home is in South Africa, where I found more than just my love for running. Living there I do not only see the bright touristy side of life but also the fact that education is still the only way to transform the continent into a brighter future. The African Leadership Foundation and it's Academy appeals to me as it is imperative that future leaders make educated decisions and are not flawed by favoritism.

What inspires you to train for the marathon?
I never did a marathon before and just completed three half-marathons so far. My decision to combine my marathon premiere with this fundraiser is based on the wish to not run alone but knowing that my contributors are with me. Every run I do will be redemption on what I owe them.
